Prenatal Yoga invites expecting moms to combine exercise and thoughts with each other. With an emphasis on breath, relaxation and postures that will increase strength and endurance, this class focuses on relieving common discomforts of pregnancy and techniques to reduce pain contributing to an easier delivery. Doctor's approval is recommended. Attention is placed upon improving balance and focus, increasing strength, opening and freeing the pelvic area, correct breathing and total relaxation. Leave the class being more in touch with your body and knowing how to alleviate common pregnancy discomforts. No previous yoga experience or exercise routine is necessary and you may begin anytime during your pregnancy.
